Oh my god, it’s been months since I’ve been on this page

Surprise! I am back with a bang. I just realized that I have never been on my blog page for over 2 months. I am utterly disappointed with myself over this neglect. With college over and vacation started i should have updated my blog on a daily basis, but due to some constraints on my daily internet usage (my father’s started TRADING shares) and due to workout at a gym and projects from Lalgudi, I was unable to post updates. Again, college’s starting tomorrow morning at 9 and I don’t know whether I’ll forget to post again like I forgot whatever I studied in my first year of engineering. This time, i am with a resolve, so I’ll make sure I’ll update atleast once in 3 days.

Some important news: FLOODS after DROUGHT in KA, India. What a hyperbole. For at least 10 days, it seemed as though there was going to be a famine in Karnataka, but with in 7 days, KRS (Krishnarajasagar) is back on bang with water levels reaching almost the maximum.

India loses its voice with the world by agreeing to discuss Baluchistan terrorism in Pak-India talks. How is this going to help India, an embodiment of peace? But, what’s the use of this Conference, tables, etc, blah blah. Bullshit! All these do not help. If Pakistan needs to understand terrorism  is not a choice to attack India, then we need to talk to them in their own language (War). I like George Fernandes as a Defense Minister more than anyone else because of the following: Musharraf said: “Pakistan is incomplete without Kashmir”, George Fernandes replied: “India is incomplete without Pakistan!!!”. Such should be the patriotism of a Defense minister.

Kapil Sibal wants to completely reinvent the education system in India. It should have been done long back in the 70s, but still I’d call it an improvement rather than a revolution. A revolution is one that doesn’t have an origin or a source while an improvement does. How can the old teaching school just trash their teaching methods and adopt newer methods which are foreign to India? No, what Sibal must do is to include a transitionary period for teachers so that they follow the newer methods along with the older ones. Just like how the web moved from HTML to XHTML, if there is going to be any reform in education system, that is!

KA CM Yeddyurappa unveils Thiruvalluvar statue in Bengaluru! How does he expect TN CM Karunanidhi to do the same? I hope so.

Now, for some discussion: how are the 4 issues stated above related? First one talks of unnatural fillips by Nature. The second talks about patriotism, the third about education and fourth the dialogue between 2 enemies. These are the indications that change is in the air. If you are sharp enough, you would have smelled the rat out a month back. But, Change is Refreshing! (Sorry for copying the new Videocon tagline!)

Hope to get some fun news next time!
